The electricity cable was rerouted away from the site at the end of December. This meant that the building work could finally commence in the new year.

The archaeologist had reduced the level of the site and plotted the position of the piles. The piling company arrived and installed the piling mat.

The drilling machine arrived and began drilling 30 piles.

Meanwhile, the service trenches have been installed and progress has continued with drainage to the septic tank at the south east end of the churchyard.

A masonry sample panel has been constructed and passed by the Chichester District Council.

This gives us the some idea of the stone work and render on the finished building.
